Built a QR-based registration workflow through the LIS. Registration generated a patient-specific QR code that patients could save as a screenshot and use to find their existing LIS record at the next test.
Outcome
Returning patients could be found in the LIS using their saved QR code, avoiding repeated demographic and insurance entry and making repeat-testing registration faster.
