Pacific Hospice & Palliative Care

Designed and Developed

Pacific Hospice & Palliative Care is a locally owned, Medicare-certified hospice serving San Antonio, TX. I redesigned and developed the full website — building a compassionate, information-rich experience that serves families, patients and referring physicians while supporting the organization's growth through analytics and conversion tracking.

Problem

Pacific Hospice needed a website that could serve multiple audiences simultaneously — families navigating an emotionally difficult decision, patients seeking information about their care options, and physicians looking for a trusted referral partner. The previous digital presence did not reflect the organization's clinical credibility or communicate the full scope of its services. Contact pathways were unclear, and there was no analytics infrastructure to understand how visitors were engaging with the site.

My role

I designed and developed the complete website redesign — covering information architecture, responsive design, service and condition pages, contact workflows, privacy content, SEO foundations and a full analytics implementation including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel with consent-aware tracking.

Website Strategy

The redesign centered on clarity and compassion. Service pages were structured around the four levels of hospice care so families and physicians could quickly find relevant information. Contact pathways were made prominent and accessible at every stage of the visitor journey. Analytics were implemented with consent management to respect patient privacy while giving the organization visibility into how the site was performing.

Engineering decisions

The website’s information architecture supported families making difficult decisions. Services, eligibility and getting started were presented as connected questions, while responsive development kept the contact path available on phones. Consent-aware analytics supported measurement of site activity.
