FerdinandMunoz.com is Ferdinand Munoz’s personal portfolio. This notice describes information collected through this website and how it is used. The site presents professional experience, selected work and ways to discuss an engineering role or project. It does not offer visitor accounts, checkout, event registration, public comments or a job-application portal for applicants seeking employment with the site owner.
Contact and Role Inquiries
The contact form collects your name, email address and message, plus any optional organization, phone number, opportunity or project type, timeline, compensation or budget range, existing website and confidentiality preference you provide. These details are used to respond to and discuss your inquiry. An engineering-role inquiry invites discussion of employment for Ferdinand; it is not an application for a job with this website.
Submissions are sent to the site owner through the hosting platform’s transactional email service. The contact endpoint does not save messages to a site database. Messages may remain in the owner’s mailbox and email provider’s systems. A hidden spam-check field and short-lived, in-memory request-rate information, including the connecting IP address, help limit abuse. Email and telephone links open your chosen application; its provider handles information you send there.
Digital Pattern Analytics
Digital Pattern Analytics, operated by Digital Pattern at digitalpattern.net, measures portfolio interest and helps improve the site. Its script loads with the page but remains inactive until you accept analytics. Before acceptance, it does not send optional analytics events or write analytics identifiers. Application-link parameters may remain temporarily in page memory through the consent flow; they are stored for analytics only after acceptance.
With acceptance, the tracker may collect pseudonymous browser and session identifiers in localStorage or sessionStorage; landing-page and campaign information, including an opaque application-link identifier; page and project views; time on page; scroll depth; and link interactions, including résumé PDF, email and telephone clicks. It also records contact submission attempts and a successful inquiry event after a positive contact-application response. That event does not include your form message or contact details.
Other analytics information may include browser, operating system, device and screen information, referrers, performance measurements and browser errors. Approximate location may come from hosting/CDN headers; precise device geolocation is not requested.
Events are stored by Digital Pattern and viewed in its private dashboard. Company and role descriptions associated with application links stay private; public links use opaque identifiers. Browser estimates do not identify a particular employer or recruiter. A PDF click does not establish reading or saving; an email click does not establish a sent message; an accepted inquiry does not confirm mailbox delivery. Portfolio analytics is not sold or used to build cross-site behavioral advertising profiles.
IP Address Handling
Hosting and network services receive an IP address to deliver requests. Digital Pattern’s optional encrypted-IP collection is disabled by default. If an authorized administrator enables it for this site, IP addresses are encrypted using AES-256-GCM and retained for no longer than seven days. Plaintext IP addresses are not intentionally stored or displayed by that feature. Masked IP and abuse-detection information may be handled separately from encrypted-IP records.
Hosting, Fonts and Demonstrations
GoDaddy/Airo hosts this site and provides its transactional email integration and SCC/C2 signals script. The signals script loads with the page. The site passes its saved analytics choice to the script’s collection control and gates its own optional click events on that choice. Hosting/signals requests and GoDaddy browser cookies can occur before a choice is made. Declining Digital Pattern analytics does not mean that no hosting requests or cookies exist.
Google Fonts supplies typography through fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Loading fonts sends a request to Google’s servers. This is distinct from Google Analytics or advertising pixels. The inspected portfolio implementation does not configure Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn or Microsoft advertising trackers.
The clinical archive demonstration stores fictional records in a local browser database, with an in-memory fallback if storage is unavailable. It does not access patient records or the private production archive. Sample exports contain fictional demonstration metadata. External project websites and demonstrations have their own privacy practices when you follow their links.
Your Choices and Privacy Requests
Use Analytics preferences in the footer to reopen the banner and change your choice. A saved choice expires after 365 days. Declining or withdrawing consent disables future optional Digital Pattern collection; withdrawal removes its browser identifiers. Previously collected records are not automatically erased. You can also manage cookies and site storage in your browser.
To ask about information held about you or request access, correction or deletion, contact Ferdinand@aol.com or use the Contact page. The site has no visitor accounts; additional information may be needed to locate pseudonymous analytics records. Contact messages are handled through email.
Sharing and Security
Information is handled by the site owner and providers needed for hosting, email, analytics and resource delivery. Information may also be disclosed with your permission or where required to comply with law or protect rights, property or safety. Linked websites and services operate separately; review their notices before providing information.
Reasonable safeguards protect information, but no website, email service or information system can guarantee absolute security. Avoid sending passwords, patient information, confidential evidence or other sensitive material through the public contact form.

This professional portfolio is not directed to children under 13, and the site owner does not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact the owner if you believe a child has provided information through the site.
Changes are posted here with an updated revision date. Questions about this notice or the site’s data practices can be sent to Ferdinand@aol.com.
