Clinical Archive & Patient Record Viewer
A read-only archive preserving historical clinical records and original documents for authorized staff after a legacy system was no longer the primary platform. Built to maintain organized, accessible records without requiring the original system to remain operational.
The Problem
A healthcare organization needed to preserve access to historical patient records and original documents after transitioning away from a legacy clinical system. Staff needed to retrieve records on demand without navigating a deprecated platform. Original documents had to be preserved exactly as they existed — not reformatted or migrated into a new data model.
The Approach
Used Playwright-assisted extraction from Careficient to collect patient data and PDF documents. Records were organized into patient-based folder structures, preserving original documents exactly as exported. A clean, Epic-style read-only viewer was built for authorized internal access — allowing staff to locate and retrieve records without modifying them.
