How I Work
"I work comfortably at both levels of technology: discussing business risk and strategy with ownership, then working directly inside the systems, code, infrastructure and data required to execute the solution."
From support to technology leadership
Ferdinand's career began in hands-on support and systems administration — configuring workstations, managing networks, troubleshooting the problems that stop organizations from functioning. That foundation gave him something most technology leaders lack: a direct understanding of what breaks, why it breaks and what it costs the people who depend on those systems.
Over time, that experience expanded into leading infrastructure initiatives, directing software-development teams and owning the technology strategy for healthcare organizations operating under strict regulatory demands.
Healthcare technology
Ferdinand has worked with laboratories, medical practices, hospice organizations and home-health agencies across more than a decade of healthcare IT. His work includes EMR and LIS interoperability — connecting Axxess Hospice, NovoPath, athenahealth, LIMSABC and eMDs so clinical data moves accurately and on time.
He has also designed HIPAA-aligned security environments and operational-continuity systems for organizations where downtime has direct patient-care consequences.
Builder and developer
Ferdinand builds the tools his clients actually need rather than adapting their workflows to off-the-shelf software. DistroDocs is a full-stack medical-distribution platform he designed and built from the ground up.
Beyond that, he has written custom Python automation for data extraction and transformation, built database-backed internal business systems and designed data pipelines for healthcare and professional-services organizations.
Forensic investigator
Through IQ Forensic, Ferdinand applies digital forensics and technical analysis to matters where findings carry legal weight. He provided forensic analysis, custom technical tooling, evidence organization and courtroom exhibit support to a defense team during a year-long federal healthcare-fraud trial that concluded with acquittals.
His work includes evidence acquisition and analysis, cybersecurity incident investigation, litigation support and expert-level documentation of technical findings for attorneys and courts.

By the Numbers
Leadership
Strategy at the top. Execution at every level.
Ferdinand's experience extends from direct technical troubleshooting to leading complex development and infrastructure initiatives. He has managed full-stack development teams, coordinated technical vendors across multi-party projects and designed AWS cloud environments with business-continuity requirements. That range lets him communicate with executives, developers, vendors and end users — then translate their requirements into a practical technical plan.
Working philosophy
"The best technology disappears into the work. It connects the right information, protects the people who depend on it and gives an organization room to grow."
